Design + build

Design the yard people compliment. Then we keep it that way.

Landscape design and build on the Central Coast should feel like working with a general contractor who actually stays after the last paver goes down. The first meeting covers your vision, materials you care about, and a realistic budget. Design is finalized before you see the install price — no surprise change orders from a plan you never approved.

Design-build, then maintain

Our ideal project is a large estate or a backyard your friends notice — patio, planting, lighting, irrigation tuned to the lot — followed by a weekly or biweekly maintenance route with the same crew who built it. That is the TSG model: Design Build Maintain, not a one-off install and a handshake.

Property managers and homeowners who rent to college tenants use us for the same reason estates do: the exterior has to look cared-for without someone on-site babysitting the vendor. One point of contact. We answer the phone.

What we build

Design lives in-house. We do not tell clients their landscape architect is someone else's problem — the plan, the build, and the long-term care are one team.

Install territory + capacity

Install work covers everything we maintain, plus Cambria, Santa Margarita, Atascadero, and Paso Robles. We take a limited number of installs at a time — larger estates when the schedule allows. Winter slows installs; spring and fall book early.

We qualify every install project. A good build needs a realistic budget and a clear scope — if the fit is wrong, we will say so upfront instead of quoting a job that disappoints everyone.

The process

  1. 1

Initial meeting on-site — scope, inspiration, budget range

  2. 2

Design developed from that conversation (not a template pulled off the shelf)

  3. 3

Final install price after design sign-off

  4. 4

Build to the same standard we maintain — then the route stays with TSG

  5. 5

Optional transition to a recurring maintenance route
