A little History

TSG Landscape Management began in 1996 as The Silent Gardener. Danny Levine, owner and operator, wanted to offer the community a landscape maintenance service that was "green" well before "green" was mainstream. The Silent Gardener offered services without using any gasoline or loud noise equipment reducing carbon emissions and providing a "quiet" gardening service. Using only electric and manual equipment, a bike and trailer, and focusing solely in the city of San Luis Obispo, The Silent Gardener was born.

After a couple of years it was clear that the electric equipment was not yet designed for commercial use and the business was growing, so gas powered equipment became part of maintenance services to provide high quality and efficient service. The core of the company and decisions for landscape maintenance are always made with a strong base in carbon reduction, water conservation and environmental sensitivity. Clients can choose a completely "green" maintenance service with no power equipment or a combination of both.

Today The Silent Gardener has grown into TSG landscape management and serves residential, commercial and corporate accounts. Clients will regularly see Danny working with the crew on maintenance routes, installation projects and clean up's.
